there is no way we can help with this without a picture of your face. frames are more about fit and shape than brand... especially since most "designer" frames are made by the same few companies that have licensed their name.

I always end up with georgio armani frames :dunno:

I can't stand huge logo's on the sides of my normal glasses

theres a link to a place in the "hot deals" subforum, I think. I would post a link if I wasn't lazy. You can get glasses for like 30 bucks, lenses and all. If your prescription is pretty high, though, I wouldn't recommend it.

with frames and lens that cheap, i'm afraid it might actually be bad for the eyes to wear them... is that possible?

if your prescription is pretty bad, you need to have your optical center adjusted on your glasses, which is a physical measurement that needs to be taken in store with the frames on your face.

if your prescription is light, you won't notice it much if at all.
