    Cliff notes:
    It's better to train one area very heavily and the rest of the body lightly, and periodize which bodypart you are focusing on, according to him.

    You can read this one sniplet:

    "Studies done years ago found that athletes moving into low rep ranges (for maximal strength) frequently lost muscle size. Adding back even one high rep set (remember this, it's important) frequently prevented the problem."

    ill keep reading,, but it makes me wonder - what if ronnie stopped doing his 3x12sets, or his supersets, and trained CP for a while? :o
    i think hed either blow up like a ballon or not see much since his supersetting is so intense for muscle growth..

    :werd: There's also an audio interview with Louie talking about periodization for Bodybuilders that's really interesting. I recommend it for all the BB's on the forum.
