Perian still the best codec pack?

    what more does perian offer? I had it installed on my G5 before i wiped and reinstalled the OS and haven't put it back on since I haven't found a use for it yet.

    I just use QT Pro, Flip4Mac, DivX & FFMpegX. :dunno:

    I know VLC will play movies, but I really like being able to play any format with quick view.

    And does that integrate w/ Quicktime? I don't remember so pardon my ignorance.

    Yup. It's a system preference so it applies to all video apps on your system.
