From the instructor.

black man with a gun
jsut palying nice work man keep it up
Thx for the kind words guys
The instructor said I was at a disadvantage with the 2 guys that beat me cause they used a vest and OWB holsters... Something to think about.
What did you use? OWB mag pouch and what kind of holster?
MTAC with a Tshirt. Felt pretty fast.
Yikes. Yeah, you'd be better off even with a cheapo OWB uncle mike's or the XDgear OWB holster that probably came with your 3.8.
Probably would... Would be a good excuse to order a Raven setup
But I also want to play the way I carry.. Maybe I can play IWB/Tshirt for a while and get really good at it then switch to OWB/Vest.
Local gun forum. Was referring to an IDPA match last night. I came in third.
You referring to my AV? No fingers in the trigger guard...
I just mimic what I see in videos... Todd Jarret and the Magpul guys. Todd Jarrett is in that video I posted for you a few nights ago.
Biggest disadvantage I see to weaver is engaging multiple targets... Or shooting around cover off your weak side. Weaver is pretty much fail bro. I used to shoot weaver.
Keep in mind the guys in these videos are seasoned in combat and what not.
Yea that's weaver.
Read this when you have time...
Quote from the article.
However, for pure performance, the Modern Isosceles is tough to beat. Many of the elite military units, HRT personnel, law enforcement officers, special response teams and citizens interested in self-defense are taking up the Modern Isosceles.
Not about accuracy... Read the article.
Not to pick on you too much but it's god damn idpa. Go to a uspsa/ipsc match and you get a real idea of what raw shooting mechanics is.
I think I will eventually. Maybe get a 4.5 XDm just for that. Gotta start somewhere though
Ray is not a fan of IDPA, apparently.
