I'll play the trial, but it's aged and I have no urge to play it again, don't know why everyone is crazy about this. We have better FPS's now.

We have better Fantasy games now, but I'll still play Ocarina of Time.

It's nostalgic. This is what gamers loved back when it was out. And now that they have a chance to play it again on a different system, online, they'll go for it.

Hell, if Goldeneye were released again...

MM and Zelda still hold up today cause they were amazing games. PD was an good game at the time, but FPS's have evolved so far from it that going back would be like riding a bike without wheels.

I can't express the word: NOSTALGIA enough to you.
Ever read an old book that you haven't touched in a while? Sure, more books have come out since... And they probably touch down on the same exact subject and deliver more substance... But that first book was one you liked. So you'll go back to it eventually.

I went back to PD on an N64 a while back, I used to love the game but it was so awful that it ruined my memories of it. I don't think an HD version will change it much, I might be wrong though. :dunno:

Since they pretty much had goldeneye done and couldnt release it, they took the weapons and 3 of the original Goldeneye maps/levels and included it in this..so we're sorta getting a good chunk of goldeneye minus the bond characters. I'm okay with that!

Also - they let you do modern style controls which is nice....the old controls would ruin this game in 2010

    The graphics are :barf: now

    I'll still give it a shot, but I have a feeling it'll be like Vigilante 8 - a disappointment.

I did love that vs mode where one player played all the enemies in a level though.

Haha, thanks for the reminder! For Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64, I held the joystick with my right hand, and reached over the top to the C-pad with my left, it sucked. I got made fun of for that. :mamoru:
