I have a new vch. No problems at all. I clean it once a day and everything is fine. I also have my right nip done. I have stretched this from a 14g to a 12g. ITs been a year since i've had it done. I still get crusties, where as with other piercings I don't.

This might have been asked before, but what are crusties, where do they come from & why won't they stop?

it's a stainless steel barbell. This also happens with a hoop. I've used acrylic, stainless, & titanium jewlery.

Can anyone give me some answers? please

The crusties are dried lymph and dead skin. Some piercings just 'crust' more than others.

My apa still crusts after several years. My nipple never has in the nine years I have had it. :dunno:

Thanks for the info, been wondering this too :)

My PA still crusts and it's really annoying, i don't think it's healing 100% because of it.

A friend of mines nipples crusted for years. I was fortunate that mine only did a tiny little bit.
