How can kia possibly be OVERrated
holy fuck. look at kia.
they are actually OVERAPPRECIATED for quality???
jesus... everyone Ive ever come into contact thinks they are steaming piles of shit... can they actually be WORSE than everyone thinks they are???
I was wondering that as well.
This has 20 page written all over it
that's so sad
but i don't agree with that list
Where are all the brand Nazi's?
The interior in my Formula is a lot better than a lot of the 80's car interiors I've been in.
i want to know how they did that study.. how did they go about in figuring out 'perceived quality' ??? ask random dickheads on the street if they think the car is of good quality or not?
that list is too weird
how can Mercury and Ford be so far apart? their cars are mostly the same??
how can other manufacturers be so far apart?
as for the 2nd list,
note how all the overhyped cars are either crappy, not so well selling manufacturers like saturn or Isuzu/Kia/Hyuindai or european shit..
it sounds like most people are retards and think that because it's euro, it has to be and > * thus their perceived quality exceeds their actual quality.
But i don't understand the Kia thing
Yeah they are basically the same thing.. weird.
GO NISSAN!!!!!!!! INFINITI IS THE UNDERDOG!!!!! THAT'S RIGHT BITCHES!!!
That's nothing to be impressed about.
As far as JD Power Depedability ratings go...
i want to see a list that says "problems after 6 years of ownership.."
i am sure the domestic brands would drop down on the list quick.. and Toyota/Lexus/Nissan/Infiniti/Honda/Acura would emerge at the top
HAHAHHAHA, people know what to expect from ford
Who are the idiots who over appreciate Kia and Hyundai? I'm surprised these people are smart enought to be able to save up enough money for these cars-I would have though anyone who thinks Kia isnt a POS would be homeless.
They did this survey like they do all the others I'm sure. They have a scientific method.
To understand the results, try and think of it like this.
The "perceived quality" is a like a rating of how many fanboys the brands have. It has nothing to do with how good the cars actually are, but more to do with how many people sackride them. "Actual quality" is a fact-based rating.
The cars in the first category are ones that are pretty good, but have no fanboys. If they DO have fanboys, then the car is REALLY good. Think about it. How many mercury fans do you know? I sure as hell don't know any. Whereas there are lots of Ford fanboys. So although the quality of the cars is generally equal, Mercury doesn't have that buzz among the population that others do.
