Men who like more traditional nice clothes, like polos, suits, whatever.

Some of the BAPE stuff is nice, but a lot of it is pretty gaudy. Just because something is exclusive doesn't make it fashionable, at least in my opinion.

i personally find streetwear like BAPE and the scenester stuff in general to be very immature. its a 'look at me' style that i feel is always trying to compensate for something or validate one's existence in certain niches of our society.

its also too trendy to be related to style, anyways. i guarantee that we will look back in ten years and laugh at this shit... same way we feel about hammer pants today.

when saying 'immature', are you referring to the all-over-print and general loudness of many of their clothing items? Or are you referencing the behavior of buyers who pay exhorbitant prices for such pieces of clothing because it's limited edition?

    both :dunno:

I like some of the "loud" items but a lot are pretty weak, imo..and yeah I'm more referring to the money people pay for it as well

how do you feel about the whole Nike SB Dunks craze? My sister's boyfriend is into them and i cant believe the prices he pays sometimes. To me most of them are :ugh: and painted in colors only a colorblind hillbilly would enjoy. I don't see what's so special about them besides them being limited edition :dunno:

not my cup of tea. i would look like i was trying too hard.

and as far as "immature" i dont think its a measure of ones maturity, but i do think its something they will almost def. grow out of.

    classic/timeless > trendy fad

I don't see it as immature, just a much less polished look then a traditional. By all means it is just a very urban brand, that is "younger" streetwear which isn't very professional instead of calling it immature...
