    :ugh::ugh::ugh:

I bought one because my dad and uncle had them in the army.. I took it to the range and all I can say is my AR outshoots it 10:1

Its heavy, its long, its clumsy, it kicks harder than a mosin and just doesnt feel well designed to me. ..

Seriously why the fuck do people like these?

Sounds like operator error or bad sights
    Mine is a tackhammer.
Only my 700 is more accurate.

accuracy can vary depending on who built it and what parts, I dont think the recoil that bad though, if you want a low recoil .308 get a CETME less kick then a x39 AK.

Depends on who built it and the kit was built on. Good kits havent been imported in years and most mfgs are running on leftovers and putting stuff together.

I love my FALs. They're tack drivers and my favorite battle rifle. I got mine while the getting was good.

If it kicks harder than a Mosin then you have the gas adjustment seriously fucked up.

What brand did you get? No FAL is going to shoot with a tight AR.

Properly adjusted FALs are quite a bit softer to shoot than CETMEs / G3 clones.

I have a DSA rifle that I got a week ago. I had a century but never shot it.

I think the gun was OK at 100 yards. At 300 yards it wasnt so great.

And its possible the gas system was adjusted wrong. Maybe ill play with it next time. Everyone I spoke to said that massive recoil sounded right for a Fal. I set it to Grenade position once and damn did that boy recoil!

:dunno: I shot a DSA maybe it wasnt adjusted properly, it wasnt harsh but the CETME I shot I was very suprised by the lack of recoil.

It should be able to get good hits at 300. 2.5-3MOA is the norm, really.

Of course the recoil is gonna seem heavy if your main thing is mouse guns but FALs are pretty soft, all things considered. Back the gas off until the bolt won't hold open on the last round, then close it two clicks.

I saw someone at Creekside on December 26th with a FAL. Was this you? I was shooting with the Tactical Solutions guys. If it was you, I shook your hand not even knowing it was you.

Ah ok, well I remember you so next time I see you I'll say hi.

If I didn't have several new guns on the way to me, I would show an interest in buying your FAL (if it is even for sale). It looked good from what I saw. Good enough for me to ask Mark (Polite Society) about the specs.
