Does your work allow it or do you break the rules?

My company doesn't allow firearms on campus, even unloaded and in the car.

So even if I were able to get a CCW here in NY, I wouldn't be able to carry all during the week.

Work doesn't allow it. Nothing on company property.

People break the rules. I do have a private office, so I could take it off and secure it when I get there if I wanted to. I've thought about it.

My work doesn't allow firearms on the property and I value my career here too much to risk being detected so I leave mine in my vehicle.

In the vehicle is on the property though, right?

Mine doesn't even allow them in vehicles. Security has the authority to search vehicles though I have never heard of it happening.

my company has no weapon policy but I choose to not carry due to the line of work.

But the hospital we are remodeling does have a unwritten no weapons allowed anywhere on the campus rule. so i just leave the guns in my truck

I'm a contractor working on an Army base, so I can't carry. Officially my company has a policy of 'not bringing firearms or weapons to work' but it doesn't specifically say anything about concealed carry. It doesn't really matter though, because my home office is in MD, and my CCW is for VA, so i'm fucked either way.

I am not allowed to carry at work, but I do every single day.
I'm a security guard, I work nights and weekends when no one else is around, and my life is more important to me than their shitty job.

I just do an incredible job concealing it, and don't act like an asshat or give anyone reason to believe I might be carrying.

I work at a nuclear power plant so I don't have to worry about it. There is a well-trained, well-armed security force all over the place 24/7/365.

    interesting side note I think:

My work has a no weapons policy of course (don't want us protecting ourselves), but I was talking to someone in the HR department and asked about body armor. She FLIPPED out and said body armor is not allowed at work. I asked her why and she couldn't give me a reason (there's nothing about it in the handbook). She just kept saying "Why would you need body armor?!"

It actually kinda pissed me off. Not only can we not carry a weapon to protect ourselves, but we wouldn't be allowed body armor if we wanted to wear some

It's not a dress code issue, it's casual dress. People wear sweats or PJs to work all the time. And she didn't care if it was concealed anyway.

You should just show up one day with a bullet proof vest underneath your shirt.
Just casually walk by her, puff out your chest even more, and just say hi and walk away.
