Do you just follow the recommended sample diet everyday or do you sub things in and out? If you sub things in and out, please list some of the things you replace.

i'm not on the cut diet, but i'm on a somewhat similar meal plan.

instead of eating chicken breasts at every meal, i sometimes use thighs and then cut down the amount of peanut butter i eat at that meal (so the fat is somewhat even) and i'll up the amount of thighs so the protein content is even as well.

also use lean ground beef and do the same thing... turkey burgers... all kinds of shit you can do.

instead of eating almost up to 8cups of green beans every day, i tend to use most of my carbs after training. (i train twice a day, so i end up not eating too many carbs throughout the day and most of them end up being simple carbs after i train)

yeah, i'm thinking of using it more as a guide than a set in stone plan. it would seem to get very tiresome eating the same stuff day after day

:werd: some people like routine though. there are some parts of the cut diet i don't really care for, so i just changed what i didn't like about it and called it my own. i think it's important you do an insulin spike after training as long as it's not out of control.

I was referring to a specific diet that is called the cut diet. The stickies at the top of the forum are a good place to look for diet information. Take a look at the thread from NoQuarter about being a bodybuilder or looking like one. He laid out a typical day of food that might be helpful for you.

www.cutdiet.com , there used to be a coupon code to get a copy of the book for free and u just pay for shipping. Volume 2 is about to come out and Marc is offering the same deal with the new one, i know someone will post it up when its available in a couple of weeks. That site also has some food substitutions some where in there for diff carb sources and a sample diet for women.

Is this cut diet book worth getting? Has anyone read it? Does it have a fair amount of meal suggestions etc?

It's def worth it so long as you're willing to follow it and not try to change a lot of shit, the cut diet is the way it is for a reason. but to answer ur question, yea it has a fair ammount of meal suggestions, even some suggester supplements and workout routines.

I got it, tried following it, but I don't stick to it..just kind of use it as a guideline.

I don't follow the workout routine at all.
