So i have a printer hooked up to a laptop on a lappy running windows ME, i would reformat it and put a resonable OS on it, but the owner doesn't want any other OS. well, i have a wireless home network here and I need to share this printer with the other computer. So how can i share the printer on the Windows ME laptop with all the other laptops/desktops running XP?

you have to enable file/print sharing "for microsoft networks" (or whatever) in the network adapter configuration (goto dialup and network connections in control panel and goto the properties for the network interface).

Tell the owner he's a fucktard and move him onto a real OS.

Make sure they all have similar ip adresses, i.e. 192.168.1.x and that they are all in the same windows workgroup.
