clone out the other lights on the horizon. They're the first thing that caught my eye.

Too centered. Put the light house to the left of the frame, and it'd look much nicer.

are teh clouds our of focus cause of a storm moving in? I like the image. Kinda wish the lighthouses light had a stronger presence

I agree to clone out the back lights and to move it to the side a little, centered pictures aren't as nice. Other than that, great shot.

does the lighthouse look OOF because of the jpeg compression? or the original is soft like that too?

The original is soft -- and upon closer inspection, I may have moved slightly during the exposure. I took my tripod (and not the tripod mount for the camera :madfawk: ) so this was shot on a signpost :wtc:

Thats a pretty lighthouse and a pretty scene for it. Go back with your tripod and make something you can hang on a wall.

hehe I like lighthouses I'd have it on my wall for sure.

How dark was it that you needed an exposure that long?
