I heard along time ago peanut butter somehow works to take off tar spots.

I have no idea how the hell it would work but I've heard it does.

I parked my motorcycle in a parking lot and it now has tar over spray spots all over it.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

A light polish like Clearkote's Vanilla Moose also removes light clay and polishes your paint at the same time. Claying will be needed if the tar is heavy or very stubborn.
