Run 10 km a day and do a lot of abdominal work outs and some minor weight training. Current weight is 141 lbs with a muscular definition and I want to maintain this however I feel I am not getting enough calories per day.

For lunch, is having a sandwhich with peanut butter and bananas on it a healthy choice? The Peanut butter I am using is the "Light Stuff".

    Thanks.

If you're having the "light" stuff you proly mean the low fat kind, right?

Suprisingly, the low fat kind is actually more unhealthy than the normal natural kind. The fat in peanut butter is good for you, the low fat kind will be loaded with sugar and E numbers and additives which you don't want.

From what I understand, PB is very calorically dense and it has the good kinds of fats. So yes it's good. But I wouldn't eat too much of it.

You're considering eating only a PB sandwich with bananas on it for lunch?

What else do you eat in a day?

Don't eat too much if you are trying to cut, otherwise :bigthumb:

    One question though...

I like natural peanut butter, but it alwasy seems to lose oil and become pretty much rock hard

    How do I prevent that?

stir it very well and eat it fast

if you fresh grind it, it takes months to separate

Make sure to mix it well at first and then keep it in the fridge. Mine always seems alright even after a while.

I figure standing there for about 3 mins mixing the stuff is good at the start, but beyond that, it gets fairly hard and almost impossible to stir
