PCI Expess question

    can it go into regular PCI slot?
    if so.. any significant loss in performance?

    no, it cannot go in a regular pci slot.

    But a device that uses 64-bit/33 MHz PCI 2.2 slot is backwards compatible. Adaptec's 2120s is an example of this. Just don't confuse PCI-X with PCI-Express
