Has anyone on here had any problems running a pc on an rptv instead of a monitor? I heard there's an easier chance of images burning onto the screen from gaming where parts of the screen doesn't change. Just wondering cause I've considered doing this but I don't want to damage my tv. It would mostly be used for gaming and videos.

I manged to get a 640x480 picutre on our RPTV at home. I know if I would have spent more time tweaking it I could have got 1080i, but I had to go back to school. :(

Lemme say that it looked INSANE!

Gaming isn't going to be as easy to do because the refresh rates and resolutions that the TV needs are very strict and alot of games won't even do them.

I know most of the games that I play are 1st person 3-d, and most have many different res. options, including widescreen, which I would be using. Not sure how to check for refresh rates.
