I have to go and adjust and possibly reset my linksys wireless router becuase I havn't been able to get my ports forwarded right while using ABC since i reformated.

I cant remember what the address is for my router, the one that I type into IE and brings up some adjustments page. Isn't it just a generic address?

it might be admin, admin, or 123456. Yeah you can reset it but you will have to know the default pw. Linksys has a 24 hour tech support number. 800-326-7114

Hey also if you ever forget the number go to start > run> cmd> ipconfig- and its the default gateway.

if you forgot the password, just press and hold the reset button on the router so that it is default again. then its usually admin/admin for user/pass

that IP might work, but thats usually reserved for cable modems.

    linksys uses 192.168.1.1

it seems as if .0.1 worked for grough though, go figure

    start - run - cmd

    ipconfig

default gateway ip is the IP of your router.

make sure you secure it down with mac filtering and encryption of sorts to prevent data sniffing.

  13. do a hardware reset. find the button somewhere. you might need a needle.
