So yea, I have a problem with mouselag that can't seem to go away. I have literally replaced every single part in my system, and no matter what, it still persists.

Changed the mouse, motherboard, video card, processor, monitor, every conceivable thing. I always have about a half second lag between when I actually move my mouse, and when the cursor moves. What gives?

I can't seem to find any online sources to fix this either. It essentially makes playing FPS games impossible.

    Anyone help?

Is it actually a half second? That's a pretty ridiculous amount of time for a mouse to lag without something being broken. If you replaced everything, I don't know what to say...

My guess is that it's wireless--that lag is something that is impossible to remove with current technology as far as I know.

Changed the RAM? Doubt it would be that but I remember how windows would slow the mouse when it was nearly accessing all my RAM

nope, wired mouse... razor lechesis (sp). The mouse I had before was a logitech & did the same thing. Yes, the lag is ridiculous, & nobody seems to be able to diagnose it :wtc:

I wonder if it's an nvidia thing... I've always had nvidia cards... perhaps its a direct3d setting or something? The mouse lag seems to be worse the higher the resolution & more elaborate the graphics settings.

Never heard of that for multiple wired mouses, sounds fucked up and something with system settings. If you've changed you mobo and mouse then it's either your system or video card. I doubt processor and ram cause it. You try installing XP and using some cheap video card to test it?

What FPS game are you trying to play and at what settings including resolution?

Sounds like you have your game graphics settings too high to be honest. If it doesn't do it when playing RPGs and I assume on the desktop, then it can't really be anything else.

That could be it too, monitor your framerate.

EDIT: Definitely sounds like that's the problem since it gets worse with higher settings.

Especially as it does it with different computer hardware and a different mouse.
