Pc diagnostic software

    I'm looking for a good total diagnostics software. anybody know what i can get?

    If only it was that easy. I find experience much more useful than any program. I use a program called The Troubleshooter and another called Quicktech Pro. Memtest86 is also a good one. They can be useful for gathering clues or confirming what you already know. Bootable manufacturer-specific hard disk diagnostic utilities are also good to have.

    I use a few...Memtest86, and then I usually test hard drives with tools that can be downloaded from the manufacturers' websites. A cool thing I found that has a whole bunch of tools on one CD is "Ultimate Boot CD" which you can download from http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/
