Get a 120mm hole saw. Fits onto a drill and you just let it go slowly, don't force it otherwise you'll melt the plastic.
jig saw probably, or a dremel
I don't recommend a jigsaw, dremel is what most people use.
Dremel with a glass bit.
eh? have any pics of this so called saw? Can I get it at home depot?
Looks like this:
Fits on any drill.
Nice I just bought a real nice aluminum one. I just hope I can modify my window for this 120mm fan successfully its gonna be good for winter, becuase im going to have my comp window an inch away from my real window, and its like usually ~ 30-40 degrees at night this time of year so for a while untill I get cooling this setup is going to kick ass =]
I did my case using a CD, dremel tool, and electric saw. It's pretty easy.
The CD is exactly 120mm so I traced the CD, drilled a hole in the center of it, took the electric saw from there and sawed a few mm's away from the CD tracing. Then the dremel tool took care of the rest. It came out pretty smooth and clean, almost perfect. No jagged edges either.
well i just spent $40 :[
