So a while ago, a member of OTAP put up a thread giving away the Thom Hogan's Complete guide to the Nikon D80. Well i won that little contest, so now I'm paying forward. Pretty good and informative. Little long though. I've only made it about 1/3 through. If you have a question about the D80, or just want to better understand the complex workings of the D80, or to a further extent, all DSLRs. It's a great guide.

First to post a picture with a D80 Exif intact gets it. I'll pay shipping, as long as you're in the lower 48, or it's not like ridiculously expensive.

    GO!....

I have that book and it's very informative, and yes the first pass is quite long, but after that you keep the field guide section ( i printed it pocket book size) and it's really usefull.

don't know, but i didn't send it like that. Fuckin USPS. Unfortunately i didn't get insurance, as there was no point on a free cd. If it doesn't read all of the files (which it should cause it doesn't fill the whole CD), I'll try to upload, or bit-torrent the files to you.

    Hey guys,

I've been working 14+ hour days, so I haven't been on much lately...

    Why the hell would I want a D80 book if I didn't own a D80?

anyway, yeah, I think it still works. I was able to pull everything off of it onto my HD. I haven't looked at it yet, but it seems to be all there...

Anyone play with the curves or PS actions yet? Anything good?

Should I burn a copy and send that out when I'm sure all of the data is complete? Or just keep sending the origional til it quits?

    Oh, and thanks again!
