Yep, last week on the DailyGizWiz Leo seemed to have nothing but bad things to say about the Zune.

There must be a crap load of cash in that market for all the players getting involved.

Too bad the people calling the shots dont' have a clue.

I mean take Nintendo 64 for example.

You load a game and it plays, bad contacts aside, every single time you plug it in.
And you have choices galore in a video game. It's a constantly evolving set of parameters throughout the game. Every time you beat an area, you are effectively making choices. And the game remebers all of them.

How hard can it be to make gadget software that's as smooth as a video game?

Relatively speaking, those devices aren't any more complicated than a video game console.

It's not an issue of whether they know how to do it. It's an issue of the RIAA refusing to sell their music through services that don't have restrictive DRM, and music download services that have to refuse to allow users to download music to non-compliant players.

If you want to see a music player that could care less about DRM, pick yourself up an Archos GMini XS202. (It's made in France. If you recall, the French recently stuck a nice crusty baguette up Apple's ass in an attempt to loosen it.)

I was referring to the article you linked from Andy Ihnatko who said
that he had trouble with the installer app, and that it didn't support wmp.

With MS's muscle, at the very least they could have insisted on being able to use wmp.

Yes well, MS' muscle seems to be limp and flaccid lately, no? Just look at Vista...

"Hey guys, we're going to make a new OS with all this cool shit!"
"Oh wait, cool shit is hard to do? Hmm...nevermind then. At least it's pretty, right?"

I bet Bill Gates keeps duvets on his bed nowadays.

Well he probably does, but it's more than likely because his wife wants them there.

One thing I wonder is whether Gates ever surfs for porn.

How funny would it be if his computer got gunked up with spyware from visiting porn sites?

Bill Gates to tech support guy: Hey guy, my computer isn't running so hot lately. Clean this up for me, okay?

    later in the day...

Tech support guy: Say, mister Gates? Do you need me to save any of this shemale stuff?

The implication was that he put them there himself.

Funny how the married guy knows what duvets are, eh?

    Wait...I'm not married...:noes:

(runs to search for the dirtiest porn he can find)
