This guy wrote a few books on stretching, one of which I am currently reading; Relax Into Stretch. In the first chapter of the book, he pretty much says that the way Americans stretch can be dangerous, and is the wrong way to become flexible. I don't know much of anything about the topic and was wondering if I could get some input. Can stretching be seriously harmful? Thanks guys.

I have this ebook that I can upload if anyone would like. It seems to be a very informative piece, I'm just looking for more input because obviously not one person is the be all end all of an argument.

By the way, your avatar is amazing.

I think what he means by that is do not bounce and try to force yourself beyond the limits
