    with such quality animation as of late, it's hard to watch older things

    just because somethings new doesnt mean it was drawn better than older series

    in general older animation is a lot worse than stuff today, and is usually only available in lower resolution, making it worse..

    i don't know how well these are animated themselves as i've never seen them.

    old school animation is highly detailed and drawn, today's stuff is all animated through computers and then rendered.

    Today's stuff is very flat looking and with angular, razor edges.

    Not that I really care, but I get a kick out of people who won't watch a series or film because it's "old".

    First time I saw this was when I bought the VHS when I was a kid. I think part two had absolutely no action. The most boring movie I ever watched.

    Part 2 is my favorite. the quality of the animation is great for its time.

    I watched Patlabor 2 :o I really couldn't get into it. :hs: I only watched it because my Japanese friend told me to. :o
