Password

    I was wondering if any one knows how to bypass a password on a computer. Is there any way? its not a xp password its a system password. When u turn on the computer it says enter pass word. any help would be appricated :bowdown:

    It ask for a password before if gets to anything for Windows, or whatever OS it's running?
    Then it's BIOS thing and you would have to clear the BIOS and reset everything.

    This doesn't apply to Macs however

    there should be a watch battery of somesort on the mobo. take that out for about 10 minutes, then put it back in. the BIOS should lose all it's stored info then.

    can u tell me what the watch battery looks like? I"m not very good with computers sorry

    it's a watch battery.... look inside a watch. it's... metal... and shiny

    btw, once you take the battery out, you have to lick it (but don't slobber). otherwise it won't work when you put it back in. and no, i'm not making this up

    WTF?! Dude thats not cool, dont give bs advice. I have removed hundreds of batteries(worked at a computer store) and NEVER had to lick one to work

    :wtf: I've replaced tons of BIOS batteries without ever licking one and they've all worked.
