hey just wondering if its possible to lock folders with a password? say like you click on the folder to open it, but before you can you have to enter a password to view its content? is this possible? :dunno:

You could make the folder hidden so nobody could actually see it. You'd have to give the name in explorer to get there.

Right click the folder, change the security settings so only you have access. The "password" is dependant on who logs in

BUT hidden folders are in plain site when the "Show hidden files" option is chosen...in XP it allows you to password protect all of your "my document" files as long as you're the system administrator.
