parts for laptops

    i want to build my own, i know where you can get processors and video cards and all that shit.. need a place to buy a case, power supply, screen things like that

    I've seen some barebones setups for laptops.

    Asus, if I remember right had some.

    you don't buy components seperately. They come in what's called a "whitebox". It's chassis, mainboard, display, keyboard, etc, already assembled. Depending on the unit you'll only have to install CPU, memory, hard drive, and sometimes the optical drive.

    yea i have seen the basic asus motherboard and processors and stuff.. where can i buy a white box than?

    small computer shops if you're looking for 1. If you want to start building several, you can go through a distributor such as ASI.
