Partial Hydrogenation - do you look out for it?

    I found this site, www.bantransfats.com that makes some scary statements about partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. I havn't fact checked, but I did some looking at labels in the store, and this shit is in just about everything.

    I figure if you're concerned with your health, it may be worth researching.

    Opinions?

    I think transfat is the equivalent of replacing motor oil with cement in a car. It's unnatural

    no,most good tasting foods have partial hydrogenation in them, so i'm all over that shit

    Yeah I don't eat that shit. I keep my sat fats reasonably low too.

    Trans is, I think, the single worst nutrient or macro-nutrient you could ever eat. I avoid it like the plague, but as I don't really eat like shit I don't have too much too worry about
