A&P Panning help..*PICS*

    This is from my first attempt at panning...

    Any suggestions for next weekend? With some of them I se the shutter speed way to slow and they came out all blurry but some looked pretty decent. hard to tell till you can upload them and view them full size.

    Pre-focus, use burst mode, and try to move your whole body steady with shoulders


    Oh and i like the second one :)

    Ahh burst mode...good call with that one. I left it on autofocus and did my best..still need to work on it though. They look a little blown out to me....should I go full manual and control the aperture to? I am not a big fan of fixing things in photoshop but if I messed with the curves it would probably fix that in this bunch.

    AI servo instead of one shot
    pan/tilt tripod head
    start panning them before you actually plan to shott, that way your in time with them

    AF mode that predicts movement rather than focusing on a arbitrary motionless point

    Does the D70 have a similar / comparable focusing mode?

    The older Digital Rebel, no. The newer Digital Rebel XT, yes. :hug:
