Wasn't the ending just delightful, I absolutely loved it, not just the ending, but every god damn second of the movie, it was the perfect in a sense, the perfect sci-fi horror/thriller movie.

I thought the end was nifty for sure.

But then 900 years of evolution and those beasts didn't communicate like us? They reverted to a simpler state?

Only saw the first half, but now that I know that Quaid turns into the villian, I don't have to watch the rest of it. :ugh2:

    Thought it sucked though

Solid movie. Nothing fantastic about it, but definitely worth watching imo.

I still don't bite on the de-evolution of the brain and a pack-like state of mentality. :o

Well when you factor in cannibalism, whatever radiation they received from the ship, and the fact they were stuck in a confined area with no real room or ability for growth and development, I think it makes sense that over time they'd turn into something inhuman. :dunno:

Why not? Don't forget inbreeding too. Cannibalism, inbreeding, etc. would definitely fuck some shit up over that amount of time. Plus we're not talking normal generations like we have now. I would assume these creatures wouldn't live past say 30, which means they'd have roughly 4 generations per hundred years in order to survive.

Just saw this today. Even though it had its corny moments, it was very enjoyable. I remember someone saying the ending sucked; I don't know what they were smoking, cause I thought it was great.

Just watched this again over the weekend. Not the best, but it's good enough that I might get it on Blu-Ray. Not enough decent sci-fi horror movies out there.
