I always liked PalmOS, but it's a dead technology and syncing is barely supported in Snow Leopard, even with Missing Sync. I have a Centro right now, but who knows how long it'll last and I don't want to take the risk that the next OS upgrade will cripple it entirely. When did I become so dependent on technology? :hs:

I have a chance to get on my Dad's AT&T plan with a $100 iPhone 3G S. They're even going to pay my early termination fee with Verizon, but my girlfriend's phone bill will go through the roof, since she has Verizon, too. :o

Looks like my next phone will probably be the BlackBerry Tour. :sad2: Hopefully Missing Sync for BB works as well as it did for Palm.

If you check crackberry.com you can get the BB Desktop Manager that leaked for OSX. It works great in terms of mac support. :)

I have the Tour because VZW is the best in NYC - all my friends and family have it, and I use the world phone aspect of the tour everywhere I travel - it's a good phone.

Obviously I'd love the iPhone for VZW, but the BBM is sooo good :hs:

It can already be found on a lot of sites in "beta" form. I have been using it for a few weeks now with no headaches at all. Just plug it in and and works.

He'd add a line and they'd discount the handset. It's a business account, they'll do almost anything for him. He was having shitty reception in his house, not to worry. They set up a repeater in the yard.

I know, right? I have had a palm device for as long as I can remember... I few years ago, I upgraded to the Palm Treo 750 and hated the windows mobile os. I searched down another 680, because I couldn't find a 755w device.

Anyway, three 680's later, and I finally bit the bullet and picked up a iPhone 3GS. I have not even really played with it yet (literally JUST got it).

Who knows... I fought the transition for a very long time, hoping against hope that Palm would suprise everyone with new palm os device.

    Oh well.

I've had Palms since the Palm III. Just looked it up, it came out in 1997.
