You are so right. Considering how FULL of scenary it is, with the crowds and limited places to stand with a tripod and camera, it's nearly impossible.

I was happy with these shots but I wanted to get a good "this is vegas, lights and all" shot. It was just too hard.

I feel like I want to see the bottom of the building for some reason.

The Palazzo looks really nice! When i was in Vegas i had planned to go out the last night for pics. The wind was at 70mps gusts so i didn't get many outside. I snapped this inside the Palazzo though, gorgeous place!

How is the CA on the 12-24 lens, from the reviews i read its pretty bad.

How distorted are the imaged at 12mm?

    Thanks guys!

As far as the 12-24. It is pretty good for what it is. Being F/4 constant aperature it really to me has no problems at all with CA. My 80-200 F/2.8 with wide open mid day is a different story.

12mm is has distortion of course being that wide. But being a cropped sensor lens there is only slight distortion that can be easily corrected. However I tend to like the distortions that a wide angle lenses create. Rarely do I ever correct them. That's just me though.

If I want to be accurate, it would be the longest lens I could find.
