im thinking about getting this
what does everyone think?
let's just assume for a second that movie wasn't the most over-rated piece of shit in say the past three decades. that assumption being made...that painting is still fucking awful unless you have mirrors on the ceiling, brass rails and marble floors
lol ceddy, go easy..this is supposed to be a friendly forum
so i guess i shouldnt get it
someone please suggest a painting then pop artish
sorry. that movie and all the sackriding it incurs really strikes a nerve with me. that and the fact that every person I've discussed it with who thought it was the greatest thing ever had poo for brains
Ikea has a lot of cheap pop art. If you want to spend more, look at some of the links in the decor resources thread. 2modern and designpublic have some nice pieces...but they're on the pricy side
I have some Roy Lichtenstein prints that i love
Lincoln in Dalivision
one of my favorites
i forget which HGTV show it was, but they did this 3 piece artwork on canvas using homemade stencils of bamboo that i really liked, and that i may attempt to make someday
kinda like this, except imagine it much more rustic and antiqued. also, disregard the overflow of the bamboo outside of the frames. probably would've added one more stick in there and would've cropped it better, but you get the idea
chuck close prints
If you like it then get it, IMO the artwork is eh, the one in the middle is ok, i'd rather just get that by itself. I love mutiple piece artworks tho, I'm planning on taking some photos of my turntables and other stuff and then cutting them up into 3-5 pieces and then putting them on my walls. =P
i've never even seen that movie. dont know what the fuss is about.
ihaveanevilplan you bastard. Lichtenstein is one of my fav. pop artists.
Scarface, in 2007
There is no fuss, the movies overrated as piss and only popular because of trendy rappers. Any self respecting person who does not have fronts, and wants to look remotely classy/professional looks like a douche referencing anything Scarface nowadays.
