I don't know much about doing it, only taking care of it! :big grin: Anyway, BOTH side mirrors on my car have a bunch of little dings and chips in the paint (RH - 2 months old, LH - year old), right down to the plastic. They're both re-painted, since neither of them are origninal mirrors.

What's the best way to apply the touch-up paint without making it look like shit?

FYI, this was also posted in the main forum.

Did you get the proper touch up paint yet?

I just dab a bit into the chip, let it dry, and dab in a bit more until it is slightly above the rest of the paint, then I let it dry a day, use a little polish or rubbing compound to smooth it down to the level of the rest of the paint, then go over the whole area with a light polish.

Alright, sounds good. I have the proper paint, although I don't think the brush that comes with it it going to be small enough to dab into these chips. Any suggestions for something to apply it with?

Try a toothpick. Works great on real small chips.

Alright, that's what someone was suggesting in the main forum, just wanted to see if you had any different ideas. Thanks, Scott.
