I've been working out for 3 or 4 months. Lately I will feel a annoying pain in my left forearm. It goes from my wrist all the way up to the elbow. After I work out the pain spreads back around to my tricep. I have been resting for 2 weeks, no workouts, and I still feel the pain. Does anyone know wtf is wrong with me? I want to get back in the gym, but the pain becomes overwhelming!

I know if I was having chronic pain I'd 1. keep lifting on it, 2. not go ask a doctor about it. :coolugh:

tendonitis in my case was only felt in the joint, this doesn't sound like tendonitis.

Was there any specific exercise that triggered the pain, or did you begin feeling it a while after your workout was finished? Did you do any new exercises, or add a lot of weight to ones that you had already been doing? Does it hurt to touch, stretch, or put tension on?

It sounds neurological to me. Get it checked out for sure.

yeah but it's going throughout the length of his arm, not just in his joint... sounds more neurological. either way he should get it checked out.

werd? two more weeks before mine. I'm so screwed though. I've been spending record amounts of time on OT instead of studying.

sounds like lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) to me

tennis elbow usually comes from constant wrist extension. strengthen the wrist extensors...do some pronation/supination exercises with weights and then ice

should be fine in a couple of weeks; if not see a doctor
