i did 3 sets of sc deads for a warm up about 10 days ago and noticed pain in my ribs. i took it easy the rest of the workout and the following day i noticed i was a little sore. i shook it off and did my workout as normal, finishing off with side bends at which time my ribs started hurting again on the right side. the following night the pain got so bad that i couldn't roll around in bed or cough.. i took last week off from the gym but the pain is still there and the area feels tender to the point where i can't move around without pain. anyone experience anything like this before? i didn't realize you could injure your ribcage short of breaking a rib.
