    Disclaimer: I was just sitting here, and told my girlfriend that I was going to start a training log. She said, "What's the name of it gonna be? Lesbian Sex?" So there you have it.....


    I lost 17 pounds in 2 months last year through a combination of my own diet and then later, Ian Smith's Extreme Fat Smash diet. Then, I met said girlfriend, and my workout plan and diet went to shit thereafter. I have gained 5 pounds back since then. Currently, I dont really have a set weightlifting routine where I concentrate on certain zones on certain days. It depends on how I feel for the most part.


    Goal: Lose weight so I can look decent on South Beach this summer, and not like the fatty I was while down there 2 summers ago

    Age: 27
    Current weight: 165 (have some muscle mass already and super big titties, so that accounts for some of the weight)
    Goal weight: 145 (it's a good look for me .... anything lower is too skinny)
    Height: 5'4"
    I dont currently have a measuring tape to gather all the other stats

    Breakfast (late: 10:30 AM)
    1 cup Yoplait Light yogurt

    Lunch (2:30 PM - Panera Bread)
    U Pick 2: 1 cup cheddar broccoli soup & 1/2 Grilled Chicken Ceasar salad

    Snack (5 PM)
    1 Green Apple
    1 small slim jim

    Dinner
    1/2 chicken breast, spinach

    After-dinner snack
    slim jim



    popped 2 caps of AMP and then....
    Cardio
    Elliptical: 30 hard minutes (85+ RPM) - 1.6 Mi & 200 cals according to Nike+
    Track: 1 lap full speed :-/

    Weights (had to leave gym early for meeting)
    oh, by the way I dont know the names of a lot of these exercises

    Weight-assisted dips: [email protected] lbs
    Lat pulldowns: [email protected] lbs
    Tricep pulldowns??: [email protected] lbs

    Honey Nut Cheerios & Skim Milk


    Lunch (11:30 AM):
    Tuna on whole wheat & plain Lays Light
    Water


    Snack (2:00 PM):
    1/2 bag of popcorn someone @ the office popped in the machine
    (whoa, I actually went into the office today)


    Post-workout snack (5:30 PM):
    Protein Shake
    Apple

    Dinner (before 7:30 PM)
    likely 2 Baked Tilapia filets & french cut green beans

    Popped 2 caps of amp and then...

    Cardio:
    30 mins - Elliptical
    hopefully, sex later....

    a bunch that I didnt count @ about 125lbs ... could have done heavier but was being lazy @ this point

    Yeah I did the fitday thing last year, and did a pretty good job keeping up with it. I'm trying to get the motivation to start it again. Anyone know of anything better than fitday?

    Maybe not better, but something with similar functionality and remaining free.



    Anyway, yesterday's workout sucked ass so bad, that it's not even worth posting what I did. Just wasnt feeling the gym... Gonna make up for it in cardio...my arms and shoulders are still sore as hell.

    And I've lost 2 pounds so far.

    Don't squat on the smith machine and training your arm/shoulders will help you burn the fat off other areas of your body.

    Curious....Is there a disadvantage or hazard to doing squats on the Smith machine? I'll move over to the barbell rack. Either way im sure my quads will kill me as much as they are now.

    Yeah, I keep trying to tell her that muscle burns more cals than fat and that the weighs will only help, but she's so worried about me losing my femininity that she won't let up :rolleyes: With that said, I'm still going to lift...she rarely goes to the gym with me.

    Squatting on the smith machine is setting yourself up for injury down the road.

    You won't lose your femininity. Unless you are supplementing you bodies natural testosterone production you, as a female, do not make enough to get add a lot of muscle mass.

    My small gym (local Rec center) is closed on Sundays so....
    I did Sharon Mann session on FitTV followed by a Bob Harper "The Biggest Loser" Cardio session on Exercise TV OnDemand.

    Sharon Mann is crazy......but I got a good workout

    5'4" ... I thought I was 5'3" so I was happy to get my inch back!

    I didnt feel too good today (sore throat, stuffy nose), so I didnt go work out....took it as a rest day and laid on the couch and in bed all day. I hope to be back at it, at least cardio, tomorrow morning.

    I didnt eat much either....just a slice of pizza from Dewey's and a shitload of orange juice, Hall's, and Ricola.
