The building looks great, but i'm not a fan of the star bursts (whether it was from a filter or from stopping your aperture down.)
I'd also consider burning down the foreground/street
I dont like the bursts either but I'm not sure what to do about them. It was a 45 second exposure and that's what happened
Burning down is a good idea, i've nver done that before
OH and thats a shooting star in the sky
That's what our alien overlords would have you think.
As to the photo, personally, I'd like to see you shoot it right after dusk so you can pick up some light in the sky.
sure it's not a landing plane?
I would think it would be a little bright in the LA metro to get a bright trail like that of a shooting star. And also, i'd think that at 45 seconds a shooting stars trail should be longer than that as they fly by crazy fast.
better or worse?
haha just messin, but yeah, that's much more than i personally had in mind.
i used to work there
Here is my version after a bit of cropping and PhotoShop adjustments.
When I lived in LA, I always wondered wtf that building was when I drove by it
what's your exif?
