I bought a 2001 mirage 2 weeks ago from a dealership, and yesterday realized it has a blown headgasket. I signed "as is, no warrenty"

can I do anything about it, or am I fucked?

    you're fucked.

.....but i'd bring it back and complain and see if they'll fix it for free, or just the cost of the parts. It's worth a shot.

What part of "No Warrenty" do you not understand, your dumb fault for not getting it checked out before you buy.

Lemon laws only apply to new cars I always thought.

Fire the mechanic.. your mechanic cant find a blown head gasket :ugh: ..

Its ok I understand you are pussy hurt for buying a POS car..

You do realize what "NO Warrenty Means right" When you buy the car you are taking it "AS IS"

PM Opi he might be able to help you

okay, the dealership probably knew about the blown gasket and did a coolant flush so the antifreeze was clean, there is no white smoke coming out, and they didn't compression test, so it's not an easy thing to find in a cheap pre-sale inspection

other than this, the car is mechanicly solid ( i changed the pads, that was the only other problem )

okay i don't know what the fuck.

the coolant wasn't dirty, it was just the comob of green coolant + dirty resivoir, and when the engine was hot the coolant was full again

now that i think about it, i think my retarded ass just put coolant in a cold engine and that's why it was low the next day ( when i was warm )

    +1 for being retarded
