Sounds like they're trying to get rid of handguns as well as any kind of CA legal variations of an "assault rifle." Looks like a lot of hunting rifles would be covered too.

w00t! CA is no longer the worst state if you like guns!

I think Im going to show this to people who think it is just CA that is FUBAR, and that similar laws will never spread to other states.

FUCK! What are the chances it will pass? This basically states any handgun with a mag that holds >10 rds is going to be illegal. I understand the grandfather part. This really pisses me off if this passes. I'd have to pay for a background check every year and a fucking registration. Don't they realize this only hurts the people who are actually eligible to purchase a firearm. Obviously felons have other ways of obtaining guns.

I can't understand how a state with so many resident hunters can have such shitty gun laws.

Wow. Just wow. Why on earth would people believe that regulating cosmetic features will in any way reduce crime?

What kind of handgun uses a fixed magazine?

I think most handguns are safe under this clause(fixed magazine), unless I'm confused.
