thanks 4 the tips Scott - i bought 3 jars of s100 from the online harley shop and just did the audi last nite.

here is what i did - washed it last nite, then pulled it in the garage and used P21S paint clense (yes the same brand as the S100) and then did the S100 on it - just 1 coat.

Then pulled it out last nite (4am) and pulled the Z in - they were calling for beautiful weather the entire weekend - but my audi got rained on this morning through afternoon.

Then it cleared up today around 6pm and i took some pics....keep in mind this is 1 coat of S100 and i didnt touch it up after the rain either.

This stuff is pretty nice and very easy to apply and clean.

I do, but they didn't turn out real well. Where this guy parks at work makes it hard to get a good angle-he has covered parking and I do their cars in the afternoon, so when I am trying to shoot pics, the sun is shinning right into my face and if I go to the other end of his Suburban, it comes out too dark. It does have an excellent wet looking shine though. I have a white F-250 I am detailing this week, I'll take pics of it and post them.

If you didn't use a polish (especially if you haven't polished in a while) you won't have perfectly clean paint to apply the wax to. Also, S100 looks even better after a day or two. It has a lot of oils in it and I've noticed cars I detailed a week before look even better a week later when I wash them.

Forgot I had this one! Not the best angle, but I really didn't have enough room to angle it the way I wanted.

You can use the S100 paint cleaner, however, I've had luck with Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Polish #7.

It's real good, so is the one EMT recommended. If you need a polish with a little more cutting power (but still gentle to the paint), Meguiars #9 is also very good.

I'd like to see something that doesn't let rain spot when it rains on a black vehicle
