    i picked out 3 shots that i took while in Bratislava with my Point & Shoot...thought they looked good. what do you guys think?

    3 is a little Grey obviously...cloudy day. oh well.

    Post processing - aka Photoshop

    I did basic cropping, horizon adjustment, levels, contracts, curves

    ahh, dont have ps yet...only thing i have is gimp and im not very skilled with it

    The first two seem tilted, which is kinda bugging me, but on the first one it could just be me. I like the last one a lot...:big grin:

    thanks! i see what you mean, but on the second one...the statue and the castle are on 2 different planes, so that could be why it looks tilted...plus these were all hand held, which i guess could account for something. i really liked these because i actually TRIED. i didn't just take snapshots like so many of my other pictures while there.

    another reason the first one is tilted is because i was looking up at it to take the picture, but im not even sure if thats an excuse

    Hehe, I understand. Trying is good. ^_^ Another thought, if you know you can't get a straight picture for whatever reason, try getting a little closer and taking it with an exaggerated slant. That can make it a little more interesting. :bigthumb:

    by the way, if any of you get a chance to visit Bratislava, I highly recommend you do so...such a beautiful place.
