    Shot this at the Animal Kingdom in Orlando a few weeks ago, with my new 40D

    I found it pretty cool, that if you zoom all the way down on the full res, on the left eye, you can see me taking the pic :big grin:

    it's sharp and contrasty but the background is poor

    Holy hell, i didnt know we had owls here at A.K. :o


    I really need to go back to that park, I havent been in about 2 years :o and I live 30 mins away haha

    What lens did you use? at 149mm to get the shot, 70-200?

    Thanks for the C&C. Yes the lens was a 70-200 f4L. Handheld, which is usually a 50/50 with that lens. I didn't have much to work with, with the bg, there is acutally a chick holding the owl on her arm, but its all out of focus :big grin:

    Awesome man.... The only place I've ever seen the birds on peoples arms is out by AK rainforest cafe (the side/gate entrance),

    id say crop out the dark part (im guessing a tree) on the right and the top and itll be better
