Overtraining?

    I'm just wondering if i'm not overtraining myself. My current routine is:

    Mondays: Chest/Triceps
    Tuesday: Cardio
    Wed: Legs/Shoulders
    Thursday: Soccer
    Friday: Back/Biceps
    Sat/Sun: One day i train a muscle group that i feel is lacking and the other day i rest

    I've been doing weights for over a year now but just recently changed to this routine (since summer is coming up) and want to make sure that I dont need any more full rest days. Thanks in advance for any help :)

    and the answer to your question completely depends on the amount of volume and intensity plus your diet plus your sleep plus whether you are on anabolics or not... dot dot dot dot dot

    Ok, well if it helps most days I do 3 sets of 6-12 reps (to fail) for betweeen 6 and 7 exercises. I take 2-3 protein shakes a day + 3 healthy meals (usually chicken/fish with vegetables + fruit in the morning). Finally i'm not on anabolics. I also get a solid 8 hours sleep
