meh, i don't understand what the fuss is about.
it's weird, because i can appreciate spending stupid amounts of money on a porsche/Mx/ferrari/etc, but i personally can't understand why someone would pay so much extra for that.
Looks and sounds sweet though.. 3.8 is pretty badass..
just the paint job on the case is $400.
It's nice, but I wouldn't buy it. It's definitely alot nice than Alienware though IMO.
this one is mega $$ too :\
what thats not a deal?
That's so gaudy to look at, let alone spend hard earned money buying it. Personally I like gamepc.com who are all about powerful performance inside and elegant, but subtle beauty outside.
They use the best of the best components. Here is one I wanted, but will eventually build myself since it's cheaper.
They use to have that same rig with the server case from coolermaster. Case alone is like $350 but looks a lot nicer than the G5 and roomier as well.
Looks like a regular Coolermaster case to me.
If you want to spend money and get a nice case, get a Soldam Altium RS6 case.
Or just get an S6 if you don't like the full mesh.
The RS6 is around $300.
I never heard of Soldam and that's not the case I'm talking about. That is the ATC110, but I'm talking about the 410.
The best looking case I have ever seen.
Those thumbnails dont work.
www.go-l.com is the only way to overspend on a computer. A 2gb solid state ram disk for your os, 7 or 8 gigs per second transfer rate. Vapo chill cooling, upto 4gb ddr ram, 2 TB storage, 9800pro 256mb cards, it doesn't get any better than that.
If I were going to spend more than a couple grand (US) on a computer, it'd have to be a G5 or a Sun machine.
That's pretty nice though.
