    I have read a couple of guides on overclocking and i kinda know what im doing but i dont think im doing it right

    I have a amd 64 3000 and corsair xms512-3200c2

    so heres what i did...

    i set the cpu frequency to 245 mhz and the cpu multiplier to 9
    245x9=2.205

    now the proc running at the speed of a 3500,

    I go to play CS:S and i noticed a decrease in fps and im like WTF MATE!? so i set the settings back to default

    I download cpu-z and i says my ram is runing at 200mhz, 3-3-3-8, but it says on new egg that it runs at 2-3-3-6. And im like ok, ill set the ram to 2-3-3-6 in the bios and put the cpu back to 2.2 and now the ram is running at 154mhz

    im still getting about 10fps lower than when i have it on default settings

    all i want is to be able to play my games without any slow downs, can soneon help?
