So i got my nipples done just a tad bit over a year now. I've had nothing but problems along the way. They migrated quite a bit and used to bleed pretty heavily. I am STILL dealing with swelling and bleeding on a regular basis. But, very rarely do I actually bleed from the piercing. They usually swell up a few mm's away from the hole and bleed there. I clean religiously. I'm not sure what else to do. I know the healing time is longer than most piercings but this is rediculous. Any thing else I should try? Right now I stick to a daily cleaning with a mild anti-bacterial. I'm not big on doing salt soaks and have never felt the need after a few days out from a piercing....

It could be the soap you're using. Try doing the salt soaks and see what results you get from that. Could also be a metal allergy. Are they done with stainless steel? switch to titanium.

I would've just used my time machine to go into the future and see the pain it woudl cause me and spend the money from the piercing on a drinking spree instead.

Seems like a good idea in retrospect...

And its not as bad as I made it sound. I'm not in constant pain or anything. They just swell and bleed regularly.

I've tried diff. soaps and I hate salt soaks:squint: Maybe its a good idea though...

They are infact stainless. But so are all my others piercings and I have never had a problem like this with any of them.

Salt soaks are natural. Soap is chemical. Its a much better choice.
