OUTLOOK 2003 - Please Help!!!

    I'm trying to get outlook to work with my comcast.net email account but it does not seem to work. Here is what I did:

    1) Outlook then Tools then Email Accounts
    2) Add a new e-mail account
    3) Chose POP3
    4) Filled in all the information - mail.comcast.net (incoming) and smtp.comcast.net (outgoing)

    Then when I click "Test Account Settings" everything will check off until you get to the last one and then an error message comes up..... ERROR: Send test e-mail message: Unable to send text message. Please verify the E-mail address field

    What am I doing wrong..... PLEASE HELP!!!

    Does your ISP use SMTP authentication?

    Do you need to log on with SPA? It's hard to fix the problem if we're not comcast customers... maybe you should contact them directly and ask.
