I liked Twilight Zone episodes compared to Outer Limits because OL always seemed to be set around some oppressive futuristic government.

I liked all of those little creepy anthologies. I even watched Rod Serling's Night Gallery.

I like the older stuff. Any attempt to revive TZ has sucked, IMO

I just found out Chiller TV was added to the Directv lineup, so I've been watching Night Gallery episodes I haven't seen since I was a kid :big grin:

 That's almost enough to convince me to get rid of cable.

I liked a lot of the 1985 TZ episodes. Especially the "SHUT UP!" one and the one where the kid had to take an intelligence test.

    "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction"
Within the course of one hour 5 stories are shown. None of these stories have any logical explanation, and some of them actually occurred. You are left to decide which of these stories, if any are fact, and which are fiction.

I had totally forgotten about that! I loved that show. I'll watch any weird Twilight Zone anthology.

Remember Night Visions, hosted by Henry Rollins?

the show rocked... we'd sit there, and play the game.

some of the stories were way out there, but still fun.

where you'd write down which you thought were real, and which you thought the writers made up... whoever got the most right won.

Now those shows never get old, though I did actually like the newer outer limits best.
